Dear all,
It is time for the EYP Poland to elect its Board and the Revisory Committee for the next year. This e-mail should explain to you why you might like to become a member of the Board or the Revisory Committee of the EYP Poland. You will also find information on how to can vote for the candidates.
Becoming a Member of the Board of the EYP Poland or the Revisory Committee
You may apply for either the Board or the Revisory Committee of the EYP Poland.
Being a Member of the Board you are given a unique opportunity to enter a team of six people that shape EYP Poland's future. Your creativity, ambition and energy help EYP develop. You have direct influence on all decisions that move EYP PL forward. This means certain responsibilities but also great satisfaction and, of course, fun!
Members of the Revisory Committee are responsible for ensuring that the Board of the EYP Poland acts in accordance with the statute. They have possibility to participate in all Board discussions by attending Board meetings and scanning EYP Poland's mailbox. Thus they should advise the Board on how to solve EYP Poland's problems by suggesting new ideas and solutions.
In order to apply you simply need to be a member of the EYP Poland. Newcomers to the Board and the RevCommittee are always welcomed as EYP Poland can be strenghtened with their fresh views and ideas.
Those of you who currently are not members of the EYP Poland and would like to apply should contact us on eyppoland@yahoo.com as soon as possible.
Remember that you have to clarify in your application form whether you want to apply for the Board or the Revisory Committee of the EYP Poland.
Applicants should fill in application forms (see the attachment) and send them to eypelections2007@gmail.com by 21th December 2007.
Elections procedure
Once gathered the applications will be sent to all members of EYP Poland along with voting ballots . Members of the EYP Poland will thus get acquainted with candidates for the Board and they will have to submit their voting ballots by 11th January 2008.
The ballots will be collected by an independent observer - Shamal Ratnayaka from the United Kingdom. His responsibility will be to collect the votes and announce the results of the elections. Shamal will be the only person having access to the voting ballots.
The results of the elections will be announced by 31th January 2008.
