on behalf of EYP Poland and organisers in Bialystok I would like to invite you to participate in the 8th Regional Session of EYP Poland in Bialystok to be held between 6th - 9th December 2007. In the attachment you will find the info-sheet that includes concept, programme, etc. The deadline for application is 25th November 2007.
The main idea of the session is the Battle of Sexes that is to be implemented by introducing male-only and female-only committees and committee topics discussing social, political and religious systems that divide men and women into superior and inferior groups. In addition, we are planning a film presentation of a Polish picture foretelling the vision of the state governed by women only.
I hope the brief description sounds interesting and inviting as we hope for your attendance.

Short description:
Approximately 120 participants coming from Austria, Belarus,
Belgium, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Georgia,
Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Sweden, etc. are
going to gather for the 8th Regional Session of the European Youth
Parliament in Bialystok/Poland.
Participants will be divided into 10 committees, and further
subdivided into female-only and male-only committees chaired by
female and male chairs respectively. The division is to be visible
in every session programme aspect. The session is to elaborate on
the issue of the social division driven by the natural division into
genders. In other words, the session is to exercise the idea of the
battle of sexes.

The programme of the session is based on the EYP methodology thus
comprising Teambuilding, Committee Work and General Assembly. In
addition, Eurovillage and Euroconcert will be held during the
session. On top, the programme includes the presentation of a Polish
comedy entitled SEXMISSION that presents the worlds governed by
women only.

Participation fee:
The participation fee covering accommodation, subsistence and
transport at the session between 6th and 9th December 2007, should be
transferred to the EYP Poland bank account by 1st December 2007.

Depending on countries’ economic situation, 2 types of the
participation fee for delegates and teachers have been introduced:
80 € for ‘Old’ 15 EU members + Norway
60 € for: Pre 1st May 2004 EU accession states and countries which
are not the EU members
40 € for chairs and journos
